Jim's( too many beers) rant about Shig ( introducing Shig's song, ASTROBOY,is from the Mermen performance at Maritime Hall March 27th 1999 when The Mermen opened for the Ventures. Shig was over the moon that night when he got to meet and hang with legendary Ventures guitarist Nokie Edwards at that show. The Mermen that night was JT, Randy Clark, That1guy, Vince Littleton. some of the photos are from a trip when Shig took the Mermen to Japan , and when Shig took the Shitones to Japan....
